Finally the start of fall sports is upon us. The Friday night games, the buzz of homecoming, and, of course the dreams of state in everyone’s eyes.
Volleyball with its many new players and new Coach Mary Quinn. After Last year’s state they are equally determined to go.
Cross-country has big numbers this year. Their new coach jumping right in. They are working hard for their first meet.
Soccer tops the chart for new though. Their new complex will soon become home to them. That does not take away their focus though.
“It takes focus to win, and our focus is winning.” Michael Minster, sophomore, said.
The Football team is ready to go. They are pumped for their first Friday night game.
“This week is the toughest week. The kids are working hard. Kyle Littrell, football coach, said.
Even though football lost someone very important, they will never forget and are determined to win. Their unity has brought them close together.
“When we’re together football is like my second family.” Corbin Hankinson, freshman, said.
This year’s fall sports are ready to be kicked off. Bring on the opponents.
